The Origins of the Vishva Vaishnava Raj Sabha

The visionary Srila Jiva Goswami introduced Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s pluralistic concept of unity among gurus, who were performing diverse services. He
established the Vishva Vaishnava Raj Sabha as an organization which would spread that message to all vaishnavas.

Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta re-inaugurated the original Vishva Vaishnava Raj Sabha according to the instruction of his father. After Prabhupada’s departure the mission spread out around the globe. Prabhupada took the initiative in such a revolutionary way that even people outside of Vedic Culture took notice and joined the Gaudiya Math or its branches.

The Current Situation of the VVRS, World Vaishnava Association

Srila Bhakti Pramod Puri Maharaja and Srila Nayanananda Das Babaji Maharaja (beloved disciples of Srila Prabhupada) as well as Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Maharaja (beloved disciple of Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhava Maharaja) accepted the responsibility of guiding the Vishva Vaishnava Raj Sabha – World Vaishnava Association.They are stars in the sky of the vaishnava unity.

Srila B.B. Tirtha Maharaja himself helped by publishing this magazine and the “WVA portrait.” He has intensified the East-West cooperation so that the whole world could become part of the mission of divine love. Srila Maharaja especially requested all devotees to use the logo of the WVA in their books and events. He also asked that a member of each temple should be appointed to create the WVA network of cooperation. Every preacher should have a chance to benefit from the materials the WVA has produced.
